Get Ready For A Boat Load of “Disenchantment” Merchandise From BioWorld, Funko, And Kid Robot

And it’s being rolled out internationally.

Matt Groening is not only a god when it comes to the creation of original animated series like The Simpsons, Futurama, and Disenchantment, but he’s masterful in taking advantage of licensing opportunities. The king is by far The Simpsons which continues to find new and creative ways to license their intellectual property be it Etsy, Off-White, and a slew of other brands more than willing to feature the longest-running animated series in prime-time.

Starting this month, expect to see the same sort of detail for his hit Netflix series, Disenchantment. Already picked up for a second full season of 20 more episodes (so that’s a back order of 30 for those counting at home), Disenchantment, whisks you away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where we will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio encountered ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools. The series features the voice talents of Abbi Jacobson (“Bean”), Eric Andre (“Luci”), and Nat Faxon (“Elfo”) along with John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding, and Lucy Montgomery.

As for merchandise, Bioworld has launched a slew of Disenchantment merch in the form of T-shirts by way of Coalition Supply which have just become available on Amazon.com. Funko and Kidrobot have also partnered to bring us Disenchantment inspired gifts and collectibles that we’ll probably start seeing sooner rather than later with Con season in full swing. For UK/Irish audiences, don’t you fret. Groening has tapped Rocket Licensing for a line of adult-skewing apparel that will include apparel, accessories, and collectibles like homeware, stationary, food and beverages, toys, games, collectibles, electronics, and a whole lot more.

You’re not even ready for this. But UK audiences can expect to see previews of merch on social channels and Comic Con London rather soon with entertainment and retail channels getting a hold of the upcoming merch offerings.
