FOX/FX Shows Continue Mass Exodus From Netflix To Hulu

It was only a matter of time, I suppose.

Since late last year, 20th Century FOX series have been leaving Netflix in favor of Hulu and that trend appears to be continuing as the only season of animated comedy Bordertown and all seven seasons of Archer are departing the streaming service. In the last few months, Futurama, Family Guy, and other FOX produced efforts have been leaving the world’s largest streaming service in favor of the one that will soon have a 40% ownership stake with Disney who last year made a bid to purchase 20th Century FOX though is still in escrow.

In any event, the newest season of Archer will be out on home release next month and there’s probably no reason you needed to keep Bordertown anyway. That and Netflix is ramping up its own original animated comedy efforts which came to pass earlier this week with the announcement of a new series coming by way of the producers of BoJack Horseman.
