Former Nightmare On Elm Street Star Rooting For An Animated Series
Whether it’s been Rick and Morty, Family Guy, or South Park, animated parodies of 80s slasher-film icon Freddy Krueger happen all the time. But, with the influx of animated revivals of popular franchises, why not an animated series inspired by the actual Nightmare On Elm Street franchise? Well, one-time Krueger actor Robert Englund seems to think it wouldn’t be a bad idea in a new interview with Syfy Wire:
“Now, if they did a really expensive animated version, a graphic novel animated version, I would love to go do the voice for it. Yeah, that would be fun to do,” admitted Englund.
Robert is 72-years young and still kicking. That said, I have yet to see many examples of horror animation that are TRULY satisfying. Not that we don’t have some contenders coming down the pike, but a TV-MA animated Krueger produced by JJ Villard sounds like a good way to die.

Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
