Family Guy’s “Quest for Stuff” to Feature Patrick Stewart, Bryan Cranston, + More

FG 1

Some familiar voices will join the Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff game, according to Fox Digital Entertainment and developer TinyCo. Bryan Cranston, Patrick Stewart, Ron Perlman, George Takei, Stan Lee, Felicia Day, and Nathan Fillion have characters in the iOS and Android game’s upcoming Comic-Con makeover version.

In the game’s plot, Stewie gets turned into an evil octopus monster and players must fight against him while being assisted by the celebrities. (Because as everyone knows, in addition to acting, all celebrities also have giant octopus-fighting skills.) “Popular icons arrive just in time to train Peter, Lois, Chris, and Quagmire to become real superheroes,” TinyCo said in a statement. “Players will need to use these newfound superpowers to save the day and restore order to the town.”

Some preview pics of the actors’ characters appear below, including Bryan Cranston eating a slice of pizza, which I can only hope is a hilarious reference to Walter White’s pie-throwing abilities in Breaking Bad. (Also, check out George Takei above attempting to do a Vulcan salute with a four-fingered hand.)

The update will be available on iOS devices July 24th and on Android devices July 27th – just in time for Comic-Con.
