“Family Guy” Names New Mayor Of Quahog

Sam Elliott has been tapped to voice “Wild West”, aka the new mayor of Quahog in the upcoming season of Family Guy.

Entertainment Weekly has first-look photos that you can see here, but, Wild is already slated to appear in a bunch of episodes in the upcoming season. For those that don’t recall, Adam West was the one-time mayor for Quahog until the actor’s untimely demise. Not wanting to have another celebrity voice himself in whoever the new mayor is, the producers opted to fashion a new character altogether which gives way to “Wild West”.

The new season of Family Guy kicks off September 27th on FOX @ 930 pm ET/PT. The premiere episode entitled “Stewie’s First Word” is all about just that. Turns out, it’s going to be some sort of swear word which will cause Lois to be casted out by the other moms as she investigates the origins of Stewie’s potty mouth. Chris Parnell, Scott Grimes, Gary Cole, Jennifer Tilly, Henry Holcomb, and Josh Robert Thompson all guest in the premiere episode. TV Insider has first-look pics of the episode that you can see here.
