Extreme Christian Right-Wing Group Parents Television Council Goes After FXX’s “Little Demon”

As if a Congressman and Ted Nugent weren’t enough, add in right-wing extreme conservative group the Parents Television Council as another unhappy customer of FXX’s newest adult animated series, Little Demon.

Not only does the Parents Television Council NOT like the series, these fuckfaces went through the trouble of going through the first three episodes and doing a tally of all of the shit that the didn’t like. Here’s their recap of the first three episodes:

In just the first three 30-minute episodes, PTC research found 173 instances of explicit language including 38 f-words and 35 s-words (all unbleeped); 45 instances of violence including graphic, gory violence such as heads exploding and bodies being mutilated and dismembered; sexual content including animated female frontal nudity (no pixilation), vulgar slang references to male and female genitalia, vile sexual innuendo, a main character who gets turned-on by violent sex; all along with occult imagery, Christian-bashing, and drug use.

Weeee-hooooo! These guys went for a ride. Really though, I’m somewhat jealous of the PTC’s recapping skills, if only for the fact that they don’t have a basic understanding of FCC guidelines for cable TV networks that air television after a certain hour not meant for children, I’d say they could potentially get a job here and give me a friggin’ vacation. Here’s what shitstain Tim Winters had to say in a statement:

“With its toxic new cable program Little Demon, the Walt Disney Company has chosen to offend millions of families – especially families who are guided by their faith. The question now is whether corporate sponsors will come alongside them by underwriting that offensive programming. Despite its hollow suggestions to the contrary, Disney knows full-well that Little Demon is designed to appeal to children, especially young teens and preteens. Advertisers understand that the viewing audience associates their brand with adjacent program content. That’s why the PTC will be contacting every sponsor of Little Demon, to remind them that the program content they underwrite is a reflection of their corporate values,” said PTC President Tim Winter.

Teens and pre-teens aren’t children, they are teens and pre-teens.

“Disney has crafted a new corporate path that eschews the very same family audience upon which its once-preeminent family brand was built. The ‘new’ Disney broke its promise about keeping R-rated content off its streaming platform, and executives on internal corporate videos have boasted of incorporating sexual themes into programs created for children. Little Demon is but the latest example of what Disney chooses to stand for. Little Demon creator Seth Kirschner even said publicly they will push edgier content as far as they possibly can, up until the point where they are told no. And thus far Disney executives are giving the green light not just to pushing the envelope, but to entirely shredding it.

Do they have R-rated content on Disney+? I haven’t seen any. Hulu does, but that’s not what Tim is talking about here.

“Despite its ‘viewer discretion’ advisories, FXX isn’t fooling anyone about whom they expect to be watching Little Demon. It’s a cartoon that centers on the life of a 13-year-old girl. But the program content is radioactive, and advertisers should choose to invest their media dollars elsewhere. We will be doing our utmost to ensure it,” Winter concluded.

It should be noted that Tim has had problems with other adult animation programs, series like Big Mouth, The Simpsons, South Park, and others have all faced the ire of Tim’s extreme-right ramblings. Good news for Little Demon, all of those shows have won Emmys so maybe this complaint from the PTC is a blessing in disguise and the new FXX series can get an Emmy-nom!
