The Simpsons is all-new this Sunday Night on FOX @ 8 pm ET with a brand-new entry into the yearly Halloween anthology series from the longest-running animated series in primetime. In the upcoming episode, the annual terror-themed trilogy includes a frightening look at the 2020 election, parodies of Pixar and “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” and a ninth birthday Lisa just can’t get over. The Paley Center for Media today also announced that it will present a new Paley Front Row Presented by Citi program in association with The New York Post and Decider.com: The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror. This program will be available for view on Verizon Media’s Yahoo Entertainment on Saturday, October 17 at 8:00 pm EST/5:00 pm PST, while Paley Members and Citi customers will have early access to the program starting on Friday, October 16. The event will also include questions submitted from Decider.com readers, and a select number of those readers will have the chance to win a limited-edition Treehouse of Horror poster.
Just in time to celebrate Halloween, Yeardley Smith, the voice behind “Lisa Simpson,” will moderate a conversation with the creative team behind The Simpsons including Mike B. Anderson, Al Jean, Steve Moore, and Matt Selman, that gives fans an insider’s look at the creative process behind the wildly popular Halloween special.
