English Dub Review: To Your Eternity “Three Eternal Warriors”

Overview

The death of his three friends turns Fushi mad, and he begins defeating the Nokkers at a furious pace. But as it turns out, he may not be the only immortal…

Our Take

With Fushi’s newfound god powers put into action and working within his limitations. Fushi takes another step in the battle to the cost of its humanity slowly fading. And since every Nokker in existence has gathered to fight in the city, this seems to be a final battle of sorts.

However, I don’t understand what’s causing Bon to withhold vitally important information on how far Fushi’s powers can go. I mean, I understand why he wanted to do that the first time when Fushi resurrected the princess, but what’s keeping him from revealing the possibility of doing more than that?

Overall, this episode was pretty good. The immortal trio seems to not regard their lives as important anymore since Fushi can resurrect them obviously bothers Fushi on an ethical level who I expect will have a moral quandary later about it. We also have to acknowledge how Kahaku’s Nokker knowingly mislead the group as to where the Nokkers would attack from. His arguments surrounding Bon are sound, yet hypocritical. To me, they both think they know what’s best for Fushi and would manipulate him if given the chance. As for the people who are thinking Kahaku’s the voice of reason, they need to snap out of it…
