English Dub Review: To Your Eternity “Secret Behind the Veil”

Overview

Fushi and his allies work to win over the trust of the people of Renril in preparation for the Nokkers’ attack.

Our Take

So far, I’m starting to like the new members of Fushi’s gang, as it might lead to something interesting. It was also nice learning the backstories of Hairo and Messar after the previous episode with Kai.

The setting is still interesting but I don’t think the audience can wait that long until the battle for Renril begins. There isn’t much reason to drag it out for much longer. The real question is, what will Fushi gain from protecting this country?

Overall, this episode felt like a test of how Fushi can behave and be trusted by others which is understandable, he also learns that people’s feelings are important. But If Fushi is going to be a hero, he’d have to also earn the people’s trust. The problem is that the Nokkers became too powerful and Fushi became unlikable, as all the main characters did which I hope changes at some point…
