Yes, for real. In fact, several traps are sprung this week on Star Blazers. For example, we’ve got a few surprise stowaways on board, and then a rogue splinter cell from the throwback Gamilan armed forces breaks off and springs an attack on the Yamato. Last, but not least, Kodai comes face to face with…the Professor…
Our Take
The recap was short, mainly, because this week’s episode poses a shit load of fun twists that fans of this season are really going to enjoy. We don’t get a WHOLE lot of the action that this show is so good at, but the twists were so well conceived this week that I’m forgiving that short sight. Yes, the overall premise of this whole season is rather underwhelming still, but there are enough juicy details embedded in the fabric of the show that there was a lot to chew on and as such is a welcome entry.
