English Dub Review: Oshi no Ko “Third Option”

Overview:

Ruby wants to be an idol for herself and for the little girl who died from cancer. The real world, however, doesn’t care about big dreams: something Aqua knows all too well.

Our Take:

I mean… I knew magnet schools were a thing and I wouldn’t expect superstars or their kids to go to a normal school but still, the fact that schools like that exist is wild. It makes sense though, you can’t just have Matt Damon’s kid mixed in with Ted down the street. I don’t know why that would be a problem but I’m sure there are some.

As for the review, Aqua and Ruby are going into high school now and they both have ideas of what they want to do. Ruby wants to be an idol like her mom and Aqua doesn’t want her to do that. Someone called him a siscon and usually in anime that means you want to bang your sister and in this case, I think he’s just being really overprotective.

The next few episodes are going to be great because the best girl of the entire series is back in the mix. Kana Arima is the best character in the Oshi no Ko manga and I fully expect that to be the same in the anime. So strap in because you are in for some great anime.
