Richard has the battle of his life with Gemini and wins. Meanwhile, Chubs learns of Howard’s secret, but something else is going down between the duo.
Our Take
It’s a brief recap, but you should watch this fight. Boxing is a genre not very popular in animation which is different than say TV or film where the genre is represented aplenty. What I think Lastman does is officially put the world on notice that fight sports can be a prolific genre of animation much in the same way soccer or swimming is for Japanese anime. If you’re gonna get producers, Jeremie Perin is a great place to start in terms of a director that presented a stellar and poignant demonstration on how to do animated boxing dramas.
