English Dub Review: Koro Sensei Quest “The Red Devil”
The Big Bad is recruiting!

E-Class wants to bring in some new recruits to up the skill quality and as such we are recommended three new potentials. The first up is “The Red Devil”, a smart ass of a warrior that loves to set traps, but is constantly on the wrong end of the karma stick. It takes a bit to convince him to join the E-class, but the Big Bad really gives him no choice either way.
Our Take
Funimation technical issues be damned! The latest episode of Koro Sensei was alright. There were some funny moments, but you can already tell the next three, including this one is going to be setup setup setup. In any case, the Red Devil is the first character I’ve seen so far in this young series that can match wit with the Big Bad. The majority of the E-class were, at best, “non-playable” and didn’t really add much, but I’m having fun with this show and I think that’s all that matters when you’re dealing with a paradoxical take on a crazy popular franchise.
