English Dub Review: Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon II “War Game”
Overview (Spoilers Below)
The day of the War Game has finally arrived, and the Hestia Familia must act quickly to compensate for their lack of manpower. Thankfully, with some stealth and deception, Bell and the gang are finally able to best the Apollo Familia — a turn of events that catches virtually everyone off-guard.
Our Take
Compared to last week’s episode, this episode is jam-packed with action. There’s never a dull moment, so the viewer can easily stay engaged in the episode without losing interest. For Bell himself, his victory is triumphant to witness as viewers are able to see just how much he has grown as a fighter (which compensates for his absence in the last episode). The ambush on Apollo’s forces, while engaging and satisfying, felt a bit too easy. It would’ve been more rewarding to see a bit more of a struggle, even if the Hestia Familia has improved their game plan strategy. Still, this episode is an excellent conclusion of this arc.
