English Dub Review: Classroom of the Elite “Every Man Has in Himself the Most Dangerous Traitor of All”

Should every man be himself with this week’s episode?

Overview (spoilers below):

Classroom of the Elite resumes on the island after “Man is Condemned to be Free” which debuted as one of the season’s top episodes. With this latest entry in “Every Man has in Himself the Most Dangerous Traitor of All,” Suzune and Ayanokoji scout out what the other class’ camps are like. They find Class B near a waterfall. The dynamic, they find, is similar to that of Class D’s operating. By a cave, they find Class A. But Katsuragi wards off Suzune when she attempts to take a closer look at the cave. Class C is found on a beach. There, Ryuen assumes a lead role

Again, this episode focuses a lot on both inter-class relationships and point spending.

Our Take:

I didn’t find this series entry as gripping as its predecessor. Over the course of the season, I’ve struggled to find a likable character. Instead, even mildly enjoyable characters are often marred by a whiny, offputting sound. Nevertheless, Ayanokoji and Suzune are a solid duo, and I enjoy exploring their relationship further.

Plus, the animation and score really shine. So these saving graces once again make this episode a fun series entry.
