English Dub Anime News: Sentai Filmworks Announces Two ; Funimation Begins Spring ’19 Roll Out
Spring is officially here.
Sentai Filmworks has announced two English dubs currently in production, both of which show the company’s continuing effort to dub classic efforts that they’ve had for sale for a while as opposed to scouring for new content from Japan. Will this effort pay off? Welp, content is king.
The first dub announced currently in production is My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu!.
When the loner Hachiman Hikigaya is coerced into joining the “Services Club” run by the smart, attractive, and stuck up Yukino Yukinoshita, it’s a recipe for disaster! But we haven’t yet added the third caustic ingredient! Bright and cheery Yui Yuigahama needs the Service Club’s help to bake cookies. It could be a recipe for romance. It could just as easily end in a nuclear meltdown! Get ready for romantic comedy gone totally wrong as the barrage à trois of the Service Club is unleashed!
The second dub announced is that for MITSUBOSHI COLORS.
This world has lots of problems, but after doing grown-up things all day, adults never have the time or energy to fix them! Kids, on the other hand, have LOTS of energy and lots more free time as well. That’s why Yui, Sat-chan and Kotoha, three elementary school girls who live in Ueno, have formed COLORS, a secret organization that protects their town from whatever real or imagined menace happens to catch their attention. A monster cat who’s also a cat burglar? They’re on the case! A horrible surplus of bananas? They’ll sell the case! And a bomb that needs diffusing? Well, they might need a little help on that one, just in case! The local cop might think they’re a nuisance, but everyone else can sleep better tonight knowing these three heroines are saving the world in MITSUBOSHI COLORS!
Funimation has begun announcing their Spring 2019 lineup which now includes YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World. The simuldub has been announced but no release date yet.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
