Emmys 2019: “The Simpsons” And Seth MacFarlane Win Big

 

 

The Emmy Awards are airing on FOX this year so it only makes sense that the home team would win for the Creative Arts Emmys and that’s what exactly what happened. For his record-setting time, Seth MacFarlane has won his fourth Emmy for “Outstanding Voice Performance” for his work on Family Guy as the voices for “Peter”, “Stewie”, “Quagmire”, “Brian”, and a dozen or so more characters.

Meanwhile, The Simpsons have one its 11th Emmy for “Outstanding Animated Program” for the episode “Mad About The Toy” written by F is for Family creator Michael Price. The news is good news for Disney+, as The Simpsons along with Star Wars Rebels, are the two shows impending subscribers are most excited about.

Both The Simpsons and Family Guy are both returning with new episodes on September 29th for FOX.

And while Netflix took a beating, the streaming service didn’t go home TOO empty-handed as Love Death & Robots had won four Juried Emmys for the following shorts:
