El Rey Network Offers Up Best Muhammad Ali Tribute Yet

This marathon IS the greatest.

Words can’t describe the hole in the Earth that was left behind with the passing of Muhammad Ali and yet 2016 seems to be the year in which all of our heroes are going (and no, Kimbo Slice doesn’t count).

That said, I’ve been hearing lots about TV specials and remembrances about the greatest fighter to have ever lived, but so far the El Rey Network has by FAR the best tribute on the horizon. Tomorrow night @ 10 pm ET, El Rey Network will be showcasing a 13 episode marathon of the 1974 classic animated series “I Am The Greatest, The Adventures of Muhammad Ali”.

For those that don’t know, “I Am The Greatest, The Adventures of Muhammad Ali” starred Muhammad Ali and his publicist Frank Bannister and we got to see the two of them fight crimes ala Scooby Doo or the current Mike Tyson Mysteries. 

This marathon of the 30-minute series is by far the best way to remember the champ. Go ahead and TiVo the HELL out of this lineup.
