Director News Roundup: “Batman and Harley Quinn” Get Their’s ; Toro Still Wants “Pac-Rim” Animated Series

Couple of brief updates for triple-A franchises and their directors.

According to a new report from Collider, Sam Liu (Director) and Bruce Timm (Lead animator) have officially been announced as part of the upcoming DC Animated film Batman and Harley Quinn which is set to release this summer by way of Warner Home Video.

These guys join Kevin Conroy as “Batman” and the questionable decision to replace Tara Strong as “Harley Quinn“.

Oh yea, and according to Screen Rant, Guillermo Del Toro still wants to do the Pacific Rim animated series that was first announced in 2014, this despite the fact that he was pulled from directing the movie sequel Pacific Rim: Uprising which is set to hit theaters next February via Universal Pictures.
