Following its premiere on SYFY earlier this year, the entire first season of Psyop-produced DEVIL MAY CARE will be streaming on Peacock from Monday, June 7

DEVIL MAY CARE is about a millennial named Beans (Asif Ali) who finds himself in Hell with NO idea why. While meeting with the Devil (Alan Tudyk) upon his arrival, they quickly figure out that Beans’ job from his earthly days translate perfectly into the Hell-esphere. Just like that, Beans becomes the Devil’s newest Social Media Manager, since online buzz is exactly what Hell’s been missing. The two form the most unlikely friendship, and together, while juggling Devil’s staff and family, they will surely get Hell trending!

The series also stars Pamela Adlon, Stephanie Beatriz and Fred Tatasciore. Created and executive produced by Douglas Goldstein (“Robot Chicken”). Developed and executive produced by Amanda Miller at Psyop and produced at Titmouse in Vancouver. Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski and Ben Kalina from Titmouse are also executive producers.

The adult animated series premiered to rave reviews and featured a handful of standout guest stars including Lindsay Lohan, Richard Kind, Lewis Black, Jack McBrayer, Tichina Arnold and Maurice LaMarche.

Our Take

TZGZ appears dead on Syfy, but perhaps there could be a second life for a bunch of the original series that had both premiered and that were in development. Some of them were very much keepers, this was one of them.

Update 6/4

We have learned that other TZGZ programming will be added to Peacock including Wild Life, Magical Girl Friendship Squad, The Summoner, and Hell’s Den season two.
