Crunchyroll Announces Stellar Slate of Fall 2020 Dub Titles

 

Crunchyroll has announced today a full lineup of dub titles heading to the platform soon including the smash hit Shonen Jump series “JUJUTSU KAISEN,” the highly-anticipated “I’m Standing on A Million Lives” and three Crunchyroll Original series “TONIKAWA: Over the Moon For You,” “Noblesse” and “Onyx Equinox.”  Get full previews and cast information below.

The dub for the popular horror series “JUJUTSU KAISEN” will premiere on Friday, November 20, with new episodes streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll every week. The dubbed episodes will be available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German. The English dub cast includes:

    • Yuuji Itadori will be played by Adam McArthur (Marco Diaz in Star vs. the Forces of Evil)
    • Megumi Fushiguro will be played by Robbie Daymond (Jin Mori in The God of High School, Prompto in Final Fantasy XV)
    • Nobara Kugisaki will be played by Anne Yatco (Hamamoto in Penguin Highway)
    • Satoru Gojou will be played by Kaiji Tang (Taek Jegal in The God of High School, Joe in Megalo Box)
    • Ryoumen Sukuna will be played by Ray Chase (Bruno Bucciarati in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind and Noctis in Final Fantasy XV)

Synopsis:

Itadori Yuuji is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Gojou Satoru, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back. 

 


The dub for “I’m Standing on a Million Lives” will premiere on Friday, November 13, with new episodes airing every Friday. The dubbed episodes will be available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German. The English dub cast will include:

  • Yuusuke Yotsuya will be played by Zeno Robinson (Ogun Montomery in Fire Force, Garfiel Tinsel in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-)
  • Iu Shindou will be played by Jeannie Tirado (Female Byleth in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Android 21 in Dragon Ball FighterZ)
  • Kusue Hakozaki will be played by Valeria Rodriguez (Sucrose in Genshin Impact)

Synopsis:

Aloof and logical middle school third-year Yusuke Yotsuya is transported to a game-like alternate world. He becomes a third player and takes on a dangerous quest with his classmates Iu Shindo and Kusue Hakozaki, who were transported there earlier. The cold Yusuke eschews emotionalism and examines all elements with detachment, sometimes even toying with the lives of his companions. Can he protect his party from attacking monsters, difficult incidents, and powerful scheming enemies and win the game?


The Crunchyroll Original series “TONIKAWA: Over the Moon For You” will premiere on Friday, November 20 with new dubs airing every Friday.  The dubbed episodes will be available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German. The English dub cast will include:

    • Nasa Yuzaki will be played by Zach Aguilar (Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Male Byleth in Fire Emblem: Three Houses)
    • Tsukasa Tsukuyomi (Tsukasa Yuzaki) will be played by Lauren Landa (Sailor Neptune in Sailor Moon, Juno in Beastars)

Synopsis:

Yuzaki Nasa was preparing for his high school entrance exams one snowy night when he spots a beautiful girl on the other side of the road. Feeling somewhat drawn to her, he walks towards the girl and is severely injured after getting run over by a truck. Despite hanging on for dear life, Nasa still walks over to the girl and knowing this may indeed be his last chance, confesses his feelings for her. She replies, “I’ll go out with you if you marry me.” Nasa immediately agrees but then loses consciousness. A few years later, he keeps busy at his part-time job, believing they’ll be reunited again someday. One day, someone randomly shows up at his doorstep. It happens to be the girl he shared that fateful encounter with.


Noblesse,” a Crunchyroll and WEBTOON Production, will premiere dubs beginning Wednesday, November 18 with dubs airing every week. The dubbed episodes will be available in English, Portuguese, French and German on November 18, with the Spanish dub to follow on November 25. The English dub cast includes:

      • Cadis Etrama Di Raizel will be played by Ray Chase (Bruno Bucciarati in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind and Noctis in Final Fantasy XV)
      • Frankenstein will be played by Sean Chiplock (Subaru in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World, Han Daewi in The God of High School)

Synopsis:

Two nobles, Regis and Seira, arrive at Ye Ran High School as part of their investigation into a series of incidents in Japan. Raizel and Frankenstein conceal their identities when they interact with the duo, but Regis and Seira realize that M-21 is a modified human and grow wary of him. Meanwhile, Tashiro is caught up in another fight with street punks on his way home from school… 


The upcoming Crunchyroll Original series “Onyx Equinox,” which follows a young Aztec boy on a journey across Mesoamerica, will premiere at 1 PM PT on Saturday, November 21. The series will appear in English, with dubs launching in Spanish, Portuguese, French and German at launch.
