COVID-19: Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina Delayed

Originally slated to premiere Fall 2020, the producers of Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina has been delayed.

Producers name COVID-19 related production issues along with delays in various language dubbings. This will also see delays in the shipment of any rewards that were a part of the animated special’s record-setting Kickstarter campaign that had raised close to $12 million.

The producers note that they are working with Titmouse and Amazon Studios to get updated timelines that will hopefully be revealed sooner rather than later.

While originally announced as an animated special, Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina was slated to be just the one special until the campaign went nuts and inspired the producers to do 14 episodes for Amazon Prime. The cast will be reprising their voice roles with the exception of Orion Acaba and Jennifer Muro is writing the show with Titmouse producing.
