Comic-Con@Home: 12 oz Mouse Season 3
OUTTA MY WAY I’M DRUNK AS HELL
Many years since the original series’ conclusion, Fitz and the gang are back for one last ride with 12oz Mouse Season 3. This panel consists of Creator Matt Maiellaro (Fitz), Mary Spender (Aria), Editor Paul Painter, Ned Hastings (Industry Man, Shark), Nicholas Ingkatanuwat (Eyeball), Editor John Brestan, and his hosted by Max Simonet (The Pineapples). Maiellaro goes into the show’s origins as a passing joke for Perfect Hair Forever that somehow spawned into its own full blown series. He also wanted it to be more serialized and psychological than what Adult Swim is used to, unlike the absurdist comedies like Aqua Teen (though obviously this show is plenty absurd and comedic at times).
After showing some clips from the season, Simonet interviews some of the newer members of the cast. Mary Spender was previously known for Youtube content before being brought on to play Aria, a new character for Season 3. Meanwhile, Ned Hastings is taking over the Shark role from Adam Reed and proved to be able to do so when he covered for him during the Invictus special. He also voices Industry Man, one of the antagonists for the season, who talks with a chipper pitch while saying and doing horrible things. Maiellaro describes him as “the darkest part of the whole story” and contrasted with the darkest evil and used car salesman.
12oz Mouse is currently airing on Adult Swim. You can watch this panel here.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
