“Close Enough” Confirmed For HBO MAX Premiere

Set to be made as part of the launch of HBO MAX in May will be the long-awaited premiere of Close Enough which now guarantees I’m a subscriber. As excited as I am that South Park, The Boondocks, and Rick and Morty will all be part of the launch of the $14.99/month service, the long-delayed Close Enough finally coming to pass is just as solid.

Close Enough is a surreal take on transitioning from 20-something to 30-something. The show centers on a married couple juggling such everyday challenges as parenthood, friendship, ham theft, stripper clowns and choosing the right day care.

The surreal comedy about a family growing up without getting old marks the first collaboration between Cartoon Network Studios and Studio T, both divisions of Turner. It also marks Quintel’s first project for the company since his Emmy®-winning work on Cartoon Network’s long-running Regular Show. TBS has ordered 13 episodes of Close Enough.
