Censored Trailer For HBO MAX’s “Close Enough” Debuts Along With New Game Inspired By Series

We’ve been getting character teases for the past week or so, but now the official trailer for HBO MAX’s upcoming quarter-hour series from JG Quintel called Close Enough has been made available. If you really can’t wait, Annecy Festival is streaming the first episode called “100% No Stress Day” and you can watch it here. That said, it costs $15, so money conscious people may just want to wait the extra week or so as the entire HBO MAX streaming service is the exact same cost.

In the episode, the roommates work together to give Emily a stress-free day, but they are sidetracked by shady characters from Alex’s past.

Close Enough drops on HBO MAX starting July 9th. Here’s hoping it’s uncensored unlike this trailer.  You can also play a new Close Enough game called “Ladder World”  for free without an HBO MAX subscription here.

Synopsis:

From JG Quintel, creator of the Emmy Award-winning Regular Show comes Close Enough, a surreal animated comedy about a married couple, their five-year-old daughter, and their two divorced best friends/roommates all living together on the east side of Los Angeles. They’re navigating that transitional time in your 30s when life is about growing up, but not growing old. It’s about juggling work, kids, and pursuing your dreams, while avoiding time-traveling snails, stripper clowns, and murderous mannequins. Their life may not be ideal but for now, it’s close enough.

Close Enough is created by JG Quintel and produced by Cartoon Network Studios.
