BubbleUK: Casting Call Announced For New Comedy Central UK Series
I love the name of this production company.
Casting is underway for a brand-new online animated series from Comedy Central UK and producers Lemonade Money called Hotline Tings.
Hotline Tings, from Lemonade Money, comprises ten 90-second episodes for Comedy Central International’s Snapchat Discover channel, with three-minute versions going out on Facebook, YouTube, Comedy Central UK and the Comedy Central Play app. It sees members of the public confessing to crazy anecdotes via a phone line, with the tales then animated and shared online.
The series is similar to TripTank and Greatest Party Story Ever in that the show will be animated retellings of “embarrassing, hilarious, and outrageous” stories. All UK fans have to do is call this number and leave a voicemail with your story, and YOU could have your sordid tale animated in a new animated series.
The commissioned shows will also go out on the Comedy Central app and online via the Comedy Central UK website.
