BubbleCAN Review: Knuckleheads “Captain Kung Fu”

Everybody was Kung Fu fighting…

Captain Kung Fu is invited to a martial arts tournament featuring the greatest fighters in the world including celebs. Jean Claude Van Dam, Steven Seagal, a guy that looks like Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, and more are part of a tourney put together by General Stang Lee who has a trophy up for grabs. Two of Kung Fu’s students, Gabriel and Samuel, came to support their master decide to do an investigation into this one guy named “Dragon” who is chopping people in half and seems impossible to defeat. They learn that Dragon is being fed steroids by the guy who organized the tournament so as to pretty much win the trophy for himself. Gabe gets caught but Samuel hides and later frees him just in time for the battle between Captain Kung Fu and Dragon.

Gabe injects Captain Kung Fu with the same shit that Dragon has got and now it’s a fair fight…until Stang gives his fighter more juice. Eventually, both fighters get juiced to the point where they look like big hulking monsters to the point where Dragon blows up. Captain Kung Fu wins the tourney and now his dojo has a bunch of new students.

Our Take

We’ve seen a couple of competitions this season for Knuckleheads, but this one was still pretty damn good. For fans of Mortal Kombat but with real celebrities, this is as close as you’re gonna get…Fatalities included. Violence is all over the place this episode but I kinda wish the final battle had a better-choreographed effort. Also, I would’ve liked to have seen some more celebrities from today kinda take some of the punishment i.e. Justin Bieber.
