Bubbleblabber vs Carl’s Stone Cold Pick of the NFL Week 9: Jets vs Chiefs

The Cowboys lost last week not just the game, but probably Tony Romo. With that in mind, both Carl and I are coming off of losses, but hoping to shape up with a win this week as we both pick the Chiefs to beat the Jets. Here’s why.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are playing at home and have the best pass rushing defense in football. The Jets are coming off of a game where Geno Smith probably played his last down, leaving Michael Vick to take the reigns. Unfortunately, this isn’t the Vick from 10 years ago, and he doesn’t quite run like he used to, so with no one to pass to (Percy Harvin has no interest in playing for the Jets), this one could be over fast. Alex Smith doesn’t have to do much, just play the game that Andy Reid is telling you to play, and you’ll be fine.

This team is going to lose because they are the New York Jets.
