‘Brickleberry’ Comics Pre-Sale of Print Copies are SOLD OUT of Issue #1

Maybe Comedy Central should rethink this one…

Here’s hoping executives at Comedy Central are listening, as it has been officially announced that the first issue of Brickleberry Comics is sold out for pre-sale. That’s right, those hoping to see Brickleberry just hanging out on the rack at your local comic book shop tomorrow will be faced with the option of going to Comixology for the digital version of the Dynamite Comics release.

Issue # 2 is set to be released 8/31 and Issue #3 will be released 9/28, so hardcore print collectors can work on pre-ordering those. But, one has to think, if Brickleberry becomes a comic series phenomenon, in this day and age of comic book TV shows and movies, is it too weird to think that the return of the animated series could be a possibility?

If I’m Comedy Central, knowing that I just cancelled  TripTank and Moonbeam City in the last year, maybe I start to look back at the show that brought me three seasons of steady ratings like Brickleberry.
