BoJack News: Banned In China ; Producers Q&A Announced

Quick updates about the Will Arnett-starrer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, BoJack Horseman is banned on China’s iQiyi service probably due to the fact that China has some of the shittiest content restrictions on the planet. Ya see, there’s no Netflix in China, so Netflix has a content deal with iQiyi to put a bunch of their original series on the streaming service like Making A Murderer, but as of June 21st reports were coming in that BoJack isn’t happening.

Here in the United States, we still love us some BoJack Horseman, and while we await a season four premiere date, producers of Netflix’s Emmy-nominated series will be a part of the Animation Block Party 2017 on July 29th @ 9 pm ET at the BAMcinématek located at the Peter Sharp Building. As part of the festivities, there’s going to be a BoJack Q&A featuring production designer and producer, Lisa Hanawalt and supervising director, Mike Hollingsworth all after a screening featuring highlights and classic clips from the show’s first three seasons.
