‘Bob’s Burgers’ Preparing an Official Cookbook!
Alriiight! Get excited Bob’s Burgers fans: an official cookbook is on its way.
In a collaboration between Bob’s Burgers creator Loren Bouchard, (who will handle the artwork) and Cole Bowden (who will handle the recipes) the book is a long time coming for legions of dedicated viewers and burger-eaters alike.
Bowden, founder of The Bob’s Burger Experiment, has been turning the show’s “Burger of the Day” jokes into actual meals and posting the results to his blog since 2013. He’s currently up to about 60.
Bouchard had been a fan of Bowden’s culinary work for a while, but hesitated to contact the cook, lest he mess up his creative process. However, Bowden eventually reached out to Bouchard (hoping to get some upcoming burger leaks to sync his site with the show) and the two struck up a relationship.
“The work he has done deserves to be printed and bound and put up on a shelf somewhere,” Bouchard said. “He’s done so much culinary heavy lifting; we wouldn’t do it without Cole.”
The cookbook is still in the early stages of production, but we’ll be sure to post more details as they become available – so stay hungry!
