Bill Plympton Library Headed To Shout

Could be a huge swoon for the budding digital distributor.

Shout Factory has announced that they have acquired a slew of content from legendary animation producer Bill Plympton including 50 animated shorts and all of Bill’s feature films with plans to distribute on multiple platforms in the coming months. Some of Bill’s works that will be featured include The Tune, I Married a Strange Person!, Mutant Aliens, Revengeance, Hair High, Idiots and Angels, Cheatin’, Your Face and Guard Dog.

Bill’s most recent animated comedy series, Trump Bites, released last year. Trump Bites is a series of short animated fantasies based on actual Trump audio clips, hand-drawn by Academy Award nominee Bill Plympton. The series is created and produced by Billy Shebar and David Roberts of 110th Street Films. It premiered on the New York Times web site, where it led all content for three straight days, and is the winner of the 2019 Webby Award for Best Animated Series.

Bill Plympton’s Library will be made available on October 15th, 2019.
