Austin Artist Creates Eerie Nighttime ‘Simpsons’ Artwork

TD6

We at BubbleBlabber always appreciate some good fan art, especially when it involves The Simpsons. So imagine our delight (imagine it!) when we saw the works of Texan Tim Doyle.

The professional illustrator has been drawing spooky versions of various Springfield landmarks, all of them set at nighttime, and they’re chock-full-o-hidden gags.

The former comic book shop owner also gives his pieces humorous show-related titles, and simply can’t produce enough works to keep up with the demand.

His other entertainment-inspired drawings include nods to King of the Hill, Futurama, Arrested Development, Seinfeld, and Sesame Street, as well as films like Toy Story, Pulp Fiction, and Fight Club.

Check out more of Doyle’s work here, available through Spoke Art in San Francisco, as well as some of our favorites below.
