Artist Gives Caitlyn Jenner the ‘Simpsons’ Treatment

Caitlyn Jenner Simpsonized

When my fiancée held up her phone and showed me the photo above, my reply was: “That guy again? Jeez, I feel like he’s everywhere.”

“Yeah, I hear you,” she replied. “But you’re supposed to refer to Caitlyn Jenner as a ‘she.’”

“I was talking about aleXsandro Palombo, the animator,” I said. “It seems like every week he’s Simpsonizing another famous person.”

Awkward.

Anyway, as you could gather, artist aleXsandro Palombo has turned Caitlyn Jenner into a Simpsons character, in a pic collection entitled, “Call me Wonder Caitlyn.” The title and main photo are nods to Jenner’s famous Vanity Fair cover, and it also contains an image of Homer lusting after her as the two share a bed. Like always, the illustrations are for a good cause: bringing attention to the unfair treatment of transgender folks in today’s society.

“Nowadays, transgender citizens are still marginalized and forced to live in a very difficult social situation,” Palombo said. “They are victims of prejudice, discrimination, and in many cases criminalized and victims of violence. Despite all of this, the policy of many counties continues to be deaf in front of their rights. We must fight this medieval prejudice and intolerance because everyone deserves to live with dignity and lead a life that match their own sexual identity.”

This is something we should all be able to support.

My only gripe? Caitlyn Jenner actually appears better looking in real life, as opposed to the drawings. I guess the transition from man to woman is more aesthetically successful than the one from woman to Simpsons character.
