Anyone who still thinks that the Michael Bay-formers-verse is still a good thing, let’s recap. Shia Lebouf, Megan Fox, Hugo Weaving, Mark Wahlberg, and now even Michael Bay have all at one point or another attempted to distance themselves from the usually poorly reviewed Transformers movies, and rightfully so. I actually liked the first Transformers movie, but after all of the sequels, I went ahead and revised my take on the franchise as a whole and I can safely say this piece of shit got what it deserved when it bombed at the theatrical box office this past summer.

Transformers: The Last Knight is out on DVD/Blu-ray today, and among the special features is a bunch of content from yet another embarrassing entry in the Transformers-verse, Transformers: Combiner Wars. Included is all eight episodes of the Combiner Wars series as originally streamed on go90 but as a stand-alone movie.

This is all in advance of Transformers: Titans Return which is set to stream 10 episodes at 10 minutes a piece starting November 14th that will see the return of not only the rag-tag bunch of Transformers that were featured in the first-run of the series but the return of Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, which doesn’t always work but at least we’ll get a decent voice acting performance from the go90 franchise this time around.

Transformers: The Last Knight is out now on DVD/Blu-ray and you can watch it here.
