American Dad! Ordered For Seasons 18 and 19 By TBS
Consistent ratings performer American Dad! has been renewed by TBS for two additional seasons (18+19) ahead of the show’s January 24th return, that night will also feature the broadcast premiere of Close Enough season two.
This is just the latest in key moves for WarnerMedia in working with 20th Century FOX to help fill the void of Family Guy-less lineups. Adult Swim recently announced that they have acquired non-exclusive syndication rights to both King of the Hill and Futurama via 20th Television. The aforementioned Disney-owned distributor has been busy in the United States and global moving around key properties with Brickleberry getting free syndication on Tubi and Family Guy being removed globally from Netflix. British channel FOX+1 will have dedicated marathons for both Family Guy and The Simpsons over the holiday, with the latter series premiering it’s newest episode on UK’s Sky network @ 1pm Christmas Eve and again 230 pm Christmas Day.
As for American Dad, the series is Cable’s #3 comedy and centers on super patriotic CIA agent Stan Smith (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) and the misadventures of his unconventional family in Langley Falls, VA. Stan applies the same drastic measures used in his job at the CIA to his home life, where Stan’s blissfully unaware wife, Francine (Wendy Schaal), has an unfaltering loyalty that makes her blind to his unabashed arrogance. His left-wing activist daughter Hayley (Rachael MacFarlane), however, doesn’t let him off so easily – and knows just how to push her father’s buttons. Hayley’s brother is the geeky-yet-confident Steve (Scott Grimes), a kid who spends his time playing video games and obsessing about the opposite sex. The Smith cabinet is rounded out by two rather unconventional members: Roger (MacFarlane), a sassy, sarcastic and routinely inappropriate space alien, and Klaus (Dee Bradley Baker), an attention-starved goldfish with the brain of a German Olympic skier.

Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
