“American Dad”/”Family Guy” Panels Set For NYCC 2018

What we know so far.

New York Comic Con is right around the corner, and like last year, the Jacob Javits Center is under construction so Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC is playing host to a slew of panels. Just announced, American Dad and Family Guy are doing a double panel, and while, by then, the FOX series will have premiered with new episodes, I’m infinitely more excited about the American Dad portion as one would think an announcement for a new season premiere date would soon come to pass. Here’s a synopsis of the panel that is coming to Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, October 6th.

4:30PM – 5:30PM  FAMILY GUY & AMERICAN DAD! – Join executive producers (Rich Appel, Alec Sulkin, Kara Vallow) and some of your favorite cast members (Mike Henry, Patrick Warburton) from FOX’s hit animated comedy Family Guy for a look back at our favorite family memories, plus a special sneak peek featuring all the hilarity and hi-jinx from the upcoming season premiering Sunday, September 30th on Fox!

It’s a Smith family Funday!  Join American Dad! cast(Wendy Schaal, Scott Grimes, Rachael MacFarlane, Dee Bradley Baker) and executive producers who will treat American Dad! fans to the first look at scenes from all new episodes coming soon to TBS.  You won’t want to miss it! Hammerstein Ballroom

Family Guy is an American animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series centers on the Griffins, a family consisting of parents Peter and Lois; their children, Meg, Chris, and Stewie; and their anthropomorphic pet dog, Brian. The show is set in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island, and exhibits much of its humor in the form of metafictional cutaway gags that often lampoon American culture.

American Dad! is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker, and Matt Weitzman first for the Fox Broadcasting Compan, currently airing on TBS. In it, Stan Smith is a CIA agent painfully dedicated to homeland security. His home life includes doting wife Francine, a ditzy housewife, liberal daughter Hayley and socially awkward teenaged son Steve. Also living in the family’s Langley Falls, Va., home are Klaus, a goldfish with the brain of an East German Olympic ski jumper, and Roger, an escaped alien from Area 51, who Stan houses in defiance of his employer due to owing Roger a “life debt.” Sounds just like the typical American family, right? Maybe not.
