@AdultSwim and @CartoonNetwork make some changes on top following departure of @FOXADHD producer

I think we mentioned the other day that MAYBE the split between Adult Swim and now FOX ADHD producer Nick Weidenfeld  didn’t go as smoothly as once thought. In any case both sides seem to be doing really well as Nick is prepping the launch of shows like Axe Cop and High School USA! and now according to The Hollywood ReporterAdult Swim is landing the legendary Mike Lazzo a new job title executive vp/creative director at Adult Swim. Mike has an already stellar resume as you can pretty much thank him for getting pretty much every great animated series on Adult Swim right from the beginning with shows like Metalocalypse, Aqua Teen, and Sealab 2021 all over his resume.

Another move happened this one at Cartoon Network as Rob Sorcher was given the same executive vp/creative director title only this will be for the Cartoon Network brand. Rob came on a bit later than Mike, but he’s just as important giving shows like Regular Show to us to which we happily accept.

Both Cartoon Network and Adult Swim have a bunch of new programming on the way and some of them have panels at San Diego Comic Con. Cartoon Network will premier a new installment of Lego: Legends of Chima this Wednesday Night @ 8pm EST on Cartoon Network while Adult Swim has a new episode of Venture Bros. airing this Sunday Night @ Midnight EST.
