Adult Swim Panels Announced For SDCC 2019

Adult Swim is, in fact, heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2019 and these guys are bringing the bacon. This year, expect panels from Rick and Morty (a small presence whence compared to prior seasons), the always reliable Robot Chicken, and the one and only Primal. We also put a listing in there for the upcoming special Rick and Morty comics line coming in the fall just so you guys have it. Robot Chicken

It’s happening! Season 10 is upon us! To mark this historic occasion, Robot Chicken returns to SDCC ready to celebrate ten seasons of animated insanity! They’re talking teaser trailers, brand-new clips, and a panel consisting of RC creators and top-secret panelists! Co-creator and executive producer Matthew Senreich is joined by executive producers/co-head writers Douglas Goldstein and Tom Root, actor/writer Breckin Meyer, writer/director Tom Sheppard, and wow! a special video message from Seth Green! Moderated by Keith Crofford, senior vice president of production for Adult Swim.

Wubba lubba dub dub! The Emmy Award–winning series Rick and Morty is back for a highly anticipated fourth season, premiering November on Adult Swim. Oni Press, IDW, and Dungeons & Dragons are busting out the 20-sided die for a second roll at Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons II: Painscape this fall, and they’re giving Comic-Con attendees an exclusive sneak peek! The world’s greatest role-playing game returns to plague the world’s most dysfunctional animated family in the newly announced second series. Fan-favorite dice-dependent writer Jim Zub is joined by editor Chase Marotz, and Wizards of the Coast game designer Nathan Stewart for a full hour guaranteed to be more fun than any line for convention exclusives!

Primal

The new animated series Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal roars to life this year on Adult Swim. Creator Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack), art director Scott Wills (The Ren & Stimpy Show, Samurai Jack), and music composer Tyler Bates(Guardians of the Galaxy, Samurai Jack) will present a first look at the new series.
