Adult Swim Canada Gets Archer: 1999 Same Day As States

Well, that’s good news.

Adult Swim Canada has quite a few imports coming in from its American brethren with an announcement that will see Hot Streets and The Jellies syndicated for their first seasons starting on Sunday, June 2nd @ 10:45 pm & Sunday, May 12th @ Midnight respectively. However, the bigger story is, is that the newly formed channel will also feature the season premiere of Archer: 1999 on Wednesday, May 29th @ 10 pm, which is the same day/time as the show is set to premiere on the FXX network here in the United States.

Here are synopses of each series linked with first season reviews of each show. So far, we know that The Jellies has been renewed for a second season while Hot Streets just finished up its second season run.

The Jellies! is a quarter-hour animated series created by Tyler, The Creator, and Lionel Boyce, that follows a family of jellyfish, including their 16-year-old human son, Cornell Jelly. When Cornell learns that he was adopted at birth, he is shocked by the news and spirals out of control as he tries to “find himself.” The result is he, his family and friends continue to end up in uncanny situations. The show’s musical score and original composition is created by Tyler, who also lends his voice, along with those of Boyce, Phil LaMarr, Blake Anderson, AJ Johnson, Kevin Michael Richardson, and many more to the show’s great cast of characters. The Jellies! is executive produced by Tyler, Boyce, Kelly Sato Clancy, Aaron Augenblick, Chris Clancy, Lloyd Braun, and Jared Heinke.

In Hot Streets, FBI Agent Mark Branski and his partner David French investigate supernatural phenomena, secretly aided by his niece and her cowardly dog, Chubbie Webbers.  There will be alien invasions, government conspiracies, monster infestations, and more.  This quarter-hour animated pilot is created by Brian Wysol, with Seth Green, Matt Senreich, John Harvatine IV, and Eric Towner (Robot Chicken), Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty) and Wysol serving as executive producers.
