The game features many elements from the show, including a level composed in the Itchy & Scratchy Universe.  Despite only being available on PC, reviews for Bart’s House of Weirdness were mostly positive.  The arcade style gameplay was praised for being bounds ahead of other Simpsons console video games at the time.
