English Dub Review: An Observation Log of My Fiancée Who Calls Herself a Villainess “Observation Log of a Self-Proclaimed Villainess and Hatred.”

Overview:

Upon advancing to the high school division, Bertia begins avoiding Cecil. After turning the situation over in his mind, Cecil visits his father to investigate the nature of the Maiden of Destiny. The fated day, the graduation ceremony, quickly approaches.

Our Take(Spoilers):

I find it a little odd that in a show that is supposed to take place in a pseudo-medieval society, there is a modern high school structure. Bertia is now a first-year, and Cecil is a third-year, I believe. You would think this would lead to them spending a lot more time together, but Bertia has been avoiding Cecil for some reason.

Cecil decides to have a sit-down with Bertia, and this leads to a moment I’ve been dreading. Up until now, things have been pretty easy breezy for our two leads. There has to be some conflict, and if the pit in my stomach is anything to go by, we’re about to get conflict.

Bertia is still stubbornly trying to get Cecil and Heronia together, and it seems to have finally broken Cecil. He began to use the word “hate” about Bertia. But it seemed like he calmed down for his graduation ceremony. Then Bertia seems to have something going on that will change things. I hope the next few episodes don’t break my heart.
