Review: Universal Basic Guys “Little the Netherlands”
Overview
Mark learns to ride a bike and finds a hidden Dutch enclave; Tammy helps Leanne plan her “divorce-lorette” party.
Our Take
Universal Basic Guys returns after a several months hiatus and introduces us to the freaky deaky Dutch of Glatontown which is becoming increasingly sprawling as the show progresses onto multiple seasons and I am hear for it. Little the Netherlands refers to a small town that Mark finds that sees everyone get around on bike which challenges his knowledge of the centuries-old mode of transportation. Little the Netherlands features all of the accouterments of the European mainlands with the likes of clean eating and drinking, whore houses, and euthanasia all of which Mark and co. gets to sample with varying results as we make our way through the episode.
Meanwhile, Tammy’s divorce-lorette party kinda seemed a bit thrown together with all of the space that Mark’s fore way into European culture seemed to encompass and probably wasn’t as strongly thought out but Mark’s ingratiation of a different culture was entertaining enough that it didn’t really matter. Overall, Universal Basic Guys returns with a solid, possibly too safe, send up of classic counter-culture tropism that should go down easy.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
