Our Take:
The best part of the whole “banned from hero party” concept is watching the so-called “heroes” get their asses kicked by karma for removing the most helpful member of the team. Whether you hate them, are eager to punch them in the face, or both, there’s always that satisfaction in seeing them experience the consequences of their arrogance. To the surprise of no one, Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None is no exception, and the wait for this particular moment was worth it, at least in my eyes. It bears repeating that Oliver is such an asshole for betraying his childhood friend and replacing him with a new Enchanter, Philly, for the dungeon, making me wish Oliver would get what he deserves.
One of the two episodes, “The Heroes Party Looks Back”, fulfills my wish by showcasing what Orun predicted in the previous episode, with the Heroes Party being weaker without him. That prediction has indeed come to fruition when the Heroes Party is forced to confront the Black Dragon on the 92nd floor. With the dragon’s power and the Heroes Party’s ignorance, it’s no surprise that this party isn’t going to progress any further without any issues. Unfortunately, despite that shortcoming, Oliver is still eager to prove that he doesn’t need Orun to assist them. This further showcases how incredibly dimwitted and egotistical Oliver is, as he prioritizes his own needs over someone who’s been on his side for years. As a result, he has put the entire group of adventurers in danger due to the Black Dragon heading through his Fickle Gate. It makes me wonder why Luna didn’t assume the role as the party’s leader, or better yet, leave the group herself.
Obviously, both episodes reflect the typical outcome of a hero party’s negligence and selfishness, with Oliver’s poor judgment putting the adventurers, including his own teammates, at risk. As for the latter episode, “The Jack-of-All-Trades’ Bad Feeling Comes True”, it’s basically more exposition involving Orun’s explanation of the original spells he created leading up to the Black Dragon’s last-minute appearance. Knowing me, I’m a sucker for seeing jerks like Oliver get karma for their ignorance, and these episodes did not disappoint amid the anime’s “been there, done that“ scenario. With everything that’s about to occur in the next couple of episodes, I wouldn’t be surprised if Oliver gets severe punishment when all is said and done.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
