Overview:

Suzuki’s a high school girl in love, but the guy she’s fallen for is nothing like her!

Our Take:

I know that we’re only one episode in, but I have to say that it feels like Celeste Perez, the voice of Suzuki, is going to carry this show. I haven’t personally watched a show where she plays the lead, but I hope I get to more from now on. Suzuki is a surprisingly charming character despite being so loud. Most of that is because of the way Celeste brings her to life, and I hope she can keep it up as the season progresses.

Tani is a man of few words in stark contrast to Suzuki, which explains the show’s title. But Suzuki finds herself in love with him despite their differences. She even gets lucky, and they hold hands when walking home. A classmate sees them, and you can guess what happens next. Suzuki denies being more than friends because she’s shy. But unlike most anime where this would drag on for a long time, Suzuki clears it up and tells him that she’s in love with him. This could be one of the best romance anime if it keeps up this kind of storytelling.
