English Dub Review: The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess “Life Is More Important than Adoration!”
Overview (Spoilers Below):
The seal on the stone tomb is broken. As Iana races to look for the one who is missing from the coffin, she is attacked by elves who have turned into vampires. Sol and Yomi come running and save her, and after realizing that she isn’t alone, Iana continues onward. But when Shukuna appears to help them, he guides them to a place where an unexpected twist awaits.
Our Take:
Iana’s plan to kill the Vampire Lord early hits a pretty big snag, as she enters to find the tomb already broken. I guess the vampiric leader isn’t patient enough to start his uprising at the right moment, possibly due to Iana’s story course-correcting her actions. Regardless, this doesn’t bode well for Iana, Sol, and Yomi, as they wind up confronting the elves that were already brainwashed by the Vampire Lord, including Shukuna, who revealed himself to be a vampiric slave near the episode’s end. Although they’re only targeting Konoha due to her Saint blood, the leader still needed to be stopped before he spreads more of his infection outside the elven village.
Given we’re close to the end of the season, it would make sense for the show to go out with a bang. Of course, by that, I mean having the former villainess confront an army of blood-sucking vampires. Unfortunately, that’s proven to be tougher than she thought when she’s about to become one herself, thanks to Shukuna. Even amidst its goofy self-awareness, the episode offered enough stakes in the vampire dilemma to highlight Iana’s acceptance of receiving help from others to form her own story. But will it be enough to kill the Vampire Lord for good? I mean, she’s Iana, after all, so of course it will. Maybe…

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
