OUR TAKE
Uh…yeah, he can. Like, have you not been paying attention? Ever since part way through the first season, this show has been hell bent on maintaining the status quo! Even in the manga, there’s not even a hint that Loid and Yor will ever find out about the other’s true allegiances, or that Anya will ever tell them, or that Yuri or Desmond or anyone will uncover anything to destroy this fragile but wholesome existence the Forger Family have made for themselves. And look, I do like these characters and how loving they are to each other despite the inherent deception at the heart of it all, but I would also like even the slightest progression or development or what have you on ANY front or plot thread. ANY. THING. WOULD. BE. FINE. But unfortunately, the fact that we have come to the end of yet another season without any satisfying or even noticeable movement does slightly sour what is overall a pretty good episode and a satisfying enough end to this three episode arc. So, just all of my issues with this episode stem from it continuing to annoy me about the immovable status quo and this being the end of another season where that status quo continued to be unmoved.
But again, there are plenty of good things about it. For one, the action scenes in this series have yet to let me down, and this arc’s fights were no exception, especially seeing Fiona get a lot of good smacks in on Wheeler when Loid is down for the count, and Fiona gets so few chances to get in on the action, much like Yuri rarely does and it was nice to see him fight it out with Loid wearing his face (which is a lot less creepier with the right context attached). And thankfully we don’t forget Yor at the end, as she and Loid do reconcile and she confesses that the only reason she started picking a fight was because she was told that normal couples have fights, which relieves Loid so much he loses the ability to stand, but then Yuri comes in and there is a BRIEF INSTANT of tension that he may find out…which is instantly negated. Death Note this is not. Ah well, I can honestly say I enjoyed this season for the most part at least, but this obsession with the status quo just REALLY annoys me.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
