Overview:

Tsukauchi’s investigation into the Trigger network has hit a wall, and he turns to All Might for advice.

Our Take(Spoilers):

With this being a prequel, I realize that we are seeing a version of All Might that we haven’t seen before. I imagine this is around the time he first started helping Tsukauchi, but the way he acts seems a little bit… off? All Might in the main series usually gives off an air of confidence, even in his small form. But for whatever reason, in his meetings with Tsukauchi, he gave off this feeling of being scared or something. At this point in the story, his injury is a secret, I’m pretty sure, but it didn’t feel like the All Might we know and love. But it is nice to see how his relationship with Tsukauchi started.

This arc is just getting started, but I’m enjoying where it seems to be going. The characters being introduced are intriguing, even the villain. I like that he’s a speedster like the Flash and might be linked to a retired hero. The only annoying thing about this series is that no matter who the villain is, they still end up being linked to All for One in one way or another. Surely some villains didn’t work for him, right?
