Koichi and Pop get dragged into an incident when a Trigger dealer unleashes a cast of rampaging robotic crabs!
Our Take(Spoilers):
I’m thoroughly enjoying this season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. If it can keep up this pace and character work, then I think we’re in for a great time. We spent very little time with Koichi and Pop in this episode, and it was still awesome! I do wonder what is going on with Knuckleduster since the issue with his daughter was resolved, so I hope we get some clarification there. But I love the focus on “minor” characters from the greater MHA series. If you’re a big Fatgum fan, for example, then I think you’ll love this episode.
One thing this show does well is make the explanations for how people’s quirks would work realistically. Though I find myself questioning how Kaniyashiki’s powers would work in a, umm… private setting. Her ability makes it so that anything that fits between her fingers or legs, she can slice through. I think you can understand why I would wonder how this would work during more… intimate encounters. Is it something she controls? She’s not the first to have a power that works like that, either. But as a character, I love her and hope we get to see more of her, but considering she is in Kansai, I won’t get my hopes up.
