Overview:
It’s time for forest camp, but Yuu finds herself left behind at the rest stop. But with Atori also left behind, the two try to come up with a plan.
Our Take:
I thought that Atori and Yuu being left behind was going to make up the bulk of this episode, but it ended up being resolved within the first five minutes. It isn’t just high schoolers who are obsessed with Atori; it seems that even all the demons of the countryside wanted to help her get back to her classmates. So Yuu and Atori made it back safely, but Suzu was scared that something had happened to Yuu and was upset with Atori.
Now back at the hotel, Yuu proceeds to commit the same hijinks we’d expect her to. When she goes to the bath and realizes that third-years bathe at a different time, she concocts a plan to wait in the bath to see Atori. Turns out she’s not alone in her thought, as Atori’s sister is in the same hiding spot. As you would imagine, spending so much time in a hot bath leads one of them to pass out, and their plan doesn’t work out as they would like. It was a funny episode, but I was disappointed we didn’t spend as much time on Atori and Yuu being separated from the rest of the students.
